Imagine: you are walking down the street and suddenly realise that 4 of 5 girls you see are wearing exactly (or nearly) the same clothes as you are. I am sure you also felt like that! Me too! ;) We can't avoid shopping in the same brands or shops and that's why today I wanted to talk with you about these trends we have used a lot during the last season; the trends we all have glady bought and we all have also seen in other girls really often.
¿Alguna vez has tenido la sensación de ir andando por la calle y que 4 de cada 5 chicas vayan vestidas igual (o casi igual) que tú? ¡Yo sí y varias veces además! Al final, todas acabamos comprando en las mismas tiendas y las mismas marcas y por eso hoy me gustaría compartir con vosotros este post sobre esas tendencias de las que hemos abusado durante la última temporada; esas tendencias que todas hemos seguido y comprado con toda la ilusión del mundo, pero que además también hemos visto en todas las chicas por la calle.

From the classic jail's uniform to the most popular print in pants in years; the striped (or stripes) pants became fastly the hit of the season. PRO: the add a really elegant and chìc touch to our daily looks and they are also perfect to be wore with crop-tops. CONS: sadly, not all figures and bodies are made to wear striped prints as it is a really tricky print; if you don't feel 100% confidet with them, don't wear them!
Los pantalones de rayas han pasado de ser el clásico uniforme penitenciario a ser el mayor éxito de la temporada muy rápidamente. PRO: son realmente elegantes y le dan ese toque chìc a tus looks diarios; además, quedan muy bien con los crop-tops (tops por encima de la barriga). CONTRA: el estampado de rayas es un estampado realmente delicado de llevar y no le quedan bien a todas las figuras, desgraciadamente; si no te sientes realmente cómoda con él, no lo lleves.

We have been used the neon colours just to underline our books and notebooks during the exam's periods at the university or high-school during ages. Suddenly, they took the streetstyle and became the favourite colours of the season. PRO: they are really happy and original colours, perfect for our summer looks. They also give a more relaxed touch to your looks. CONS: just a t-shirt o a skirt in neon yellow is a good choice; a whole look (t-shirt, skirt, sandals and bag) in neon yellow is too much. Keep it simple!
Sólo usábamos los colores flúor en los subrayadores que utilizábamos en la época de exámenes en la universidad o en el instituto y de repente, se hicieron con la calle y se convirtieron en nuestros colores favoritos. PRO: los colores flúor siempre dan un toque original y divertido a tus looks y además, son perfectos para tus outfits de verano. CONTRA: llevar sólo la camiseta o sólo la falda en amarillo-flúor es una muy buena idea; ir de arriba a abajo vestida en amarillo-flúor es demasiado. ¡Aquí sí que se aplica lo de menos es más!

This trend could be clearly the Queen of the Season. I am sure that the first time you saw them you also thought: "Sneakers with wedges? That won't get any further!" And just after a couple of weeks we were all dying to have a pair of the Isabel Marant's collection. Since Isabel presented her model, all brands and shops create their own models so we have been able to find sneakers with wedges in every single shop. PROS: they are really comfy and give to your daily looks a more casual touch. CONS: although they have an interior wedge, they are not made to be wore in more formal situations or events. They still are classified as "sneakers".
Si hay una tendencia a la que podamos llamar la Reina de la Temporada esa es la de las zapatillas (deportivas) con cuña interior, ¡sin duda alguna! Al principio todas pensamos: "¿zapatillas deportivas con cuña?¡Qué cosa más rara, seguro que no triunfa!" Y al par de meses estábamos locas por conseguir unas Isabel Marant. Y es que desde que esta diseñadora francesa lanzó las suyas, el resto de marcas y tiendas del mundo han hecho sus modelos particulares con lo que las podíamos encontrar en cualquier sitio. PROS: sí son muy cómodas y perfectas para dar ese toque más casual y desenfadado a tus looks de diario. CONTRA: no olvides que aunque lleven cuña interior siguen siendo zapatillas deportivas así que quizá déjalas en el armario para tus eventos más formales.

The studs started to be wore just in shoes and sneakers. However, after a couple of months we started to have them in all of our clothes: dresses, bags, loafers, high-heels, t-shirts, shirts, hairs-accesories... Studs over all! I must confess this trend is my favourite: between a normal basic shirt and a studded shirt, I'd buy the studded one surely! ;) PROS: the accesories and clothes with studs are really original but elegant at the same time. CONS: as happens with neon colours, keep it simple!
Al principio sólo llevábamos tachuelas en nuestros zapatos o zapatillas. De repente, empezaros a estar presentes con toda nuestra ropa y accesorios: vestidos, camisas, camisetas, bolsos, pendientes, pulseras, tacones, bailarinas... He de confesar que es una de mis tendencias favoritas, ¡me chiflan los accesorios con tachuelas! ;) Si he de elegir entre una camisa con tachuelas y otra sin, ¡me llevo la que lleva tachuelas, sin dudarlo! PROS: los accesorios y prendas con tachuelas siempre darán un toque más original, pero a la vez elegante a tus outfits. CONTRA: como pasa en el caso de los colores flúor, la regla es muy fácil: ¡menos es más! Evitar lleva tachuelas en toda la ropa y accesorios.
